Refund Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This is a starting template provided for early access. Please have it reviewed by legal counsel before relying on it for your business.

The short version

There is a Free plan, so you can publish and share before you ever pay us. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.

If something has gone wrong, that is a different matter — email hello@collektions.app within 30 days and we will make it right.

Try the Free plan first

Every account starts on the Free plan, with no payment method required. You can upload, publish and share real publications on it. We would rather you found out that way whether Collektions suits you than pay for a month to find out.

When we will refund you

We will refund a charge, without argument, when:

  • You were charged in error, or charged twice for the same period.
  • You were billed after cancelling.
  • The service was unusable for you and we could not fix it in a reasonable time.
  • You were charged for a renewal you did not intend and have not meaningfully used the new period.

Email us within 30 days of the charge. Include the email address on the account; you do not need to fill in a form.

When we generally will not

  • Part-used billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you keep the plan until the period you have paid for ends — we do not pro-rate the unused part.
  • Renewals you were notified about and did not cancel. We email before an annual subscription renews.
  • Periods you used the plan for, on a subscription you have had for some time.

These are defaults rather than rules we apply mechanically. If your situation sits outside them and feels unfair, write to us and say so.

Cancelling, and what happens to your work

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not end your access immediately. Your subscription stays active for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and then your account returns to the Free plan.

We do not delete your publications. Anything above the Free plan’s limits becomes inactive and stops being publicly reachable, but the content stays in your account. Upgrade again, or bring your usage under the Free limits, and it comes back.

Who takes the payment

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record for Collektions. They handle the checkout, the card details, sales tax and VAT, and they issue the receipt — so their name, not ours, is what appears on your statement. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, and typically take five to ten business days to appear depending on your bank.

Collektions never sees or stores your card details.

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page limits refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer laws of your own country or state, including any statutory cooling-off period. Where those laws give you more than this policy does, they win.

Asking for a refund

Email hello@collektions.app from the address on the account, and tell us which charge you mean. A reply should reach you within two business days.

The full billing terms, including automatic renewal and price changes, are set out under “Plans and billing” in our Terms of Service.
